        American Montessori Academy is a certified Montessori school based in Roseville, Calif. The school offers a wide range of programs, such as a fall program, an extended child care program and a summer program. With the use of the advanced Montessori materials, its students receive instruction in reading, spelling, geography, social studies, grammar, science, botany, math and a variety of elective subjects. The academy uses language arts, mathematics as well as sensorial cues as instructional media to train its pupils. Additionally, American Montessori Academy also organizes various events for parents and children.

        I cannot say enough good things about this school. The teachers are incredible and the small-town feel of the campus is so charming and nourishing to all who enter the gates. Montessori is a fabulous way to teach children and the feeling you get while at AMA is just magical. My children all attended the school from 2-7 years old and I have to say that they are excellent students in jr. high and high school today. They learned lifelong study habits, relationship building skills, basic functions of how numbers work, and so much more about life in general. I highly recommend this school to anybody looking for a holistic learning approach with lots of love added to the mix.
