I have been getting my wife Honda 2010 to City Tech Auto Repair in Rosemead to check the engine light came on 3rd time. Of course I get out of my town looking for a better price and different auto repair shop. I found this place and immediately we talked to the shop owner, he inspected the car and made some test. He was very helpful, friendly and quick responded to the problem he found. I got a promptly quote and a really good price that was affordable to me. He called over one of his expert mechanic, explained what was the problem and how to solve the problem. I felt relaxed and comfortable with the excellent customer service.

The car now runs smoothly and no engine light comes on in the dashboard. I had good service for a reasonable price. No complaints after all. So far, very happy and everything was done as was expected. The car was carefully handled. Thank you so much for the service. Excellent auto repair shop. Highly recommended.

I drive a lot for work and thus spend a lot of time all over Southern California. While doing business in Rosemead, my BMW overheated and I was stranded. I called around and city tech auto repair was the closest to my location. After a quick tow, I arrived and they diagnosed the problem real quick. My car needed a new radiator, water pump and thermostat. We all know German car parts cost an arm and a leg! However they offered me a fair price for parts and labor and they got the job done in a matter of hours! The mechanics were knowledge, skilled and efficient. Definitely would recommend to everyone

This auto repair place is great. I took in my vehicle for a wiper motor replacement, since I went to another auto shop and they quoted me $425 to replace the broken wiper blade motor and I was likes how much??? so I left and went over to City Tech Auto, spoke with Danny and he recommended that I don't need to replace it with a new one and I could save alot of money by getting a refurbished or used one. He sold me on that and had him do the job. The wait was that long a few hours, which is much better than the dealership(They have me wait all day for a simple oil change). They were friendly, courteous, efficient, and very reasonable priced( I saved almost half the original quote)

I went to this place for a timing belt. Danny explain what need to be change out. Price is very reasonable. He even save all the change out parts to show me. Now my car drive like new. Thanks!

Got my Camry's front brakes repaired yesterday and definitely very happy with their service and price. I saved about $40 compared to other shops for genuine Toyota brakes.

I have been a customer of City Tech for over 10 years now. Great prices and they don't rip you off! As a female, I am absolutely appalled by the number of auto repair shops who lie, cheat, and try to manipulate prices when they see a female looking to service their car. But City Tech doesn't care if you're male or female, young or old, whatever race you are, etc. All they care about is to make sure your car is running perfectly fine and save you money at the same time. My entire family are fans of City Tech. I'm talking three generations of family members have all brought their vehicles to City Tech and have never had a problem. They are always busy especially during the weekends. And best of all that differentiate City Tech from others is that they would gladly drive you home if you live within a 5 mile radius for free without having to make you wait until your repairs are completed!!!

I did my homework and shopped around for a week from Pasadena to Los Angeles. Most independent shops were dishonest and charged $$$. City Tech Auto Repair, however, was honest and straight forward. No questions asked. No up-sell garbage. No dishonest sales tactics. No add-on work that I didn't need. No fake diagnostics. Most shops in the neighborhood were outrageous and dishonest. It was astonishing these independent shops are not embarrassed at all for lying and trying to scam the public. City Tech, however, gave me what I want at a price I could afford with WARRANTY! that's right! WARRANTY FOR ENGINE REPLACEMENT. I am appalled by all of the fake Yelp reviews. I was at this shop and more than 80% of the Yelp reviews do not match any of service, equipment, or even facility layout. So if you need your car repaired, I definitely recommend this shop

I've been to multiple repair shops. City Tech won my business because their prices were not only competitive but also straight forward. My Honda had a transmission problem and that's definitely $$$. City Tech offered me $200 cheaper than other shops with warranty! There's absolutely no upsell or cross sell of other services or ripping me off by trying to make me pay for services I didn't need.

Yeah sometimes you have to wait an extended period of time because they have lots of customers but it's well worth it!Ever since I am in LA i have came here, oil change is only $17, tire balancing $8 per tire, $40 for 4-wheel alignment ($110 at sears auto center), $45 per axle brake pad replacement(Your own pads, labor only), can you find a place cheaper than this? I sure for hell can't!

Great service and fair prices. I came here for an oil change and they gave me a good price. They are really polite people here and they don't try to screw you over like all the other shops around the area

I have been here for more than 5 years to have smog check, this is family own. They open all the times. I highly recommend this place, I live in San Fernando valley, it is worth to drive here. Give them a try.

I can honestly say that this is a great place to bring your car. The mechanics are trustworthy and quick. I've been bringing my car here for 4 years now. My friends and coworkers bring it there, and I have NEVER heard of complains like the reviews from below. They are definetely not "rip off artist"...!!!!

I don't know why people are giving this business a bad rating. I come here for repairs and smog checks and I had never had a problem. The guys are friendly and fast at taking care of me. The turn around time on my vehicles are quick and job is done correctly. Never had to bring my car back after a repair, always fixed right the first time.

City tech is really on your budged mechanic shop ,i been taking my cars there for years i know danny manager/owner since high school his whole family works there ,danny has a lot of knowledge on any type of model car very trusted guys, dont get me wrong i always check on different shop for prizes or whats wrong with my cars first and i always end up at city tech ,but the only advice is just keep an eye on the mechanic that is working on your car some of them are very careless and you need to catch them and then you reported to danny as soon as possible before you leave the shop and he will work with you in fixing the problem and thats when you see good customer service from the owners it happen to me . City tech A++

Great guys that tell you the truth. They are busy 7 days a week because everyone around SGV love going to them. I can tell even the employees like working there for the most part. When you hear the technicians collaborating over laughter and singing songs while they service your car, it's a sign that they know what they're doing. They're pretty confident that they know how to service your car, they're not stressing but having fun w the job. I've taken Japanese and European cars to them and they haven't let me down.
