General Info: Greenbrier Valley Physical Therapy's experienced staff offers a wide range of rehabilitative services with an emphasis on outpatient orthopedics, sports injuries, work injuries, industrial injuries, aquatic therapy, occupational therapy, and speech therapy. Depending on the type of injury, most rehabilitation programs are exercise based integrating a biomechanical analysis of the structures involved and principles of tissue healing. We also provide all inpatient physical therapy, speech therapy, and occupational therapy at Greenbrier Valley Medical Center. Additionally, we provide athletic training services to Greenbrier East High School and Eastern Greenbrier Middle School.

Pediatric Care
Pixote, a native of Monroe County, has a Bachelor's in Exercise Science and Doctorate of Physical Therapy from East Tennessee State University, class of 2007. Prior to moving back to West Virginia, Pixote worked in an out-patient clinic in Tennessee. She joined Greenbrier Valley Physical Therapy in 2009 and moved to West Virginia Physical Therapy in May 2011 as clinic manager. She has been a member of the American Physical Therapy Association since 2006. Pixote enjoys working with a wide array of patients from young children to the young at heart. She treats orthopedic conditions, post-surgical conditions, neurological conditions, spinal pain, chronic pain, pediatrics, oncology patients, and conditions that limit one's functional mobility. Pixote, her husband, Sam, and their children reside in Lewisburg where they are active in the community and their church.

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Our OT is trained and experienced in hand therapy for the treatment of tendon repair, tendonitis, fractures, sprains, arthritis, amputations including prosthetic training, carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel and other repetitive stress injuries. We offer rehabilitation therapy including post-stroke and neurological rehabilitation, spinal cord injury, and traumatic brain injury rehab including training to address deficits in activities of daily living such as dressing skills and handwriting, vision therapy, Parkinson’s disease, and multiple sclerosis. Our OT is also trained in splint fabrication/modification.

We provide a comfortable, safe environment for pediatric-focused therapy in the areas of autism, cerebral palsy, speech and language delays, as well as feeding and swallowing assessment and treatment.

Iontophoresis
Masterworks Physical Therapy (MPT) offers physical therapy services for an array of conditions including but not limited to orthopedics, geriatrics, work related injuries, sports injuries, and pain management. We offer personalized treatments that include electrical stimulation, ultrasound, phonophoresis, iontophoresis, mechanical traction, manual therapy and individualized exercise programs. MPT has a large treatment area with six different treatment tables as well access to a full fitness center of Nautilus machines, free weights, and cardio equipment. Dale is a native of Bath County and has worked in the Alleghany Highlands for his whole career. He earned a B.S. in Sports Medicine from Radford University in 1996 and an A.A.S. as a Physical Therapist Assistant in 1999. He enjoys WVU sports, spending time with his family, and camping.

Occupational Therapy
Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts degree and Master's of Occupational Therapy from West Virginia University. She has national certification with the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy. Stephanie specializes in hand therapy, but also sees patients who have suffered strokes and traumatic brain injuries as well as pediatric patients. Stephanie resides in Maxwelton with her husband, Travis, and their children, Gracie and Brayden. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and is active in her church.
