Woodward and Joyner

I hired Ms. Joyner for a divorce. She couldn't attend the first hearing. I had to go alone and ask for another court date. She charged me $200 for drafting the request for continuance. It took over 30 days to get a follow-up appointment. She gave me several pages of questions from petitioner's lawyer, said they were due a couple of days before trial. 10 days later she charged me $300 to request another continuance. I feel that she was aware she was overloaded and shouldn't have taken my case. Communication between her and her staff was very poor. When I called to ask questions about how to answer the interrogatories her assistant said she wasn't aware of them that Ginger must have given them to me. That if I didn't want to answer specific questions to "say you don't have them". I called to make another appointment but was told she wasn't available for several weeks. Then she charged me $40 to consent to withdraw three weeks before trial. She did not answer phone calls or emails in a timely manner. In her final email it was apparent that she did not recall why I came to her office in the first place
