We went to this restaurant for the first time just before Christmas and was fairly impressed with the menu choices. The sea bass in a cherry reduction was VERY good. Gourmet pizza selection was good and they do offer a gluten free pizza option which is appreciated HOWEVER the gluten free pizza is so damn small it's an insult for the price!!!! That was one of the disappointments to an otherwise good experience. The other disappointment is that typically in a finer dining establishment, the very annoying sports TV'S aren't present!! If that's your preference, go down the street and eat at a crappy Chili's or STAY HOME!!! This restaurant has 2 of them in direct proximity to the dining area and VERY annoying when trying to eat or converse with others.

Would I go back? Maybe, but not guaranteed. I'm kinda weird that, when I drop $200 on a dinner with friends, I like to have everyone leave satisfied and not deaf from the noise. Granted a lot of the noise was from the dining crowd itself but it detracts from an otherwise good place to eat.

P.S. Internet menu doesn't reflect the actual somewhat limited physical menu.

Great food, great service...... but the noise is so loud....!!!!!!

Zanata's is FANTASTIC!! I've never had anything bad at this restaurant. I am a frequent customer and am on first name basis. Rockwall was long overdue for a restaurant like this. You can go in for a few cocktails and sit at the bar. or you can get a table and order anything from a pizza to a wonderful Pork Chop to Red Sea Bass or Duck. I welcome you to indulge in this treat. If you don't live in Rockwall it is well worth the drive!!
