        In 1940 Lawrence G. Wehner, began to repair and sharpen reel mowers in the garage attached to his house. He began servicing equipment for golf courses, school districts and home owners. Wehner Mower was born. In 1964 the second generation, Larry Wehner and his wife Joyce, joined Wehner Mower and the push was on! After further expansion into handling snow blowers, rotary mowers and tractors, the Wehners outgrew the original garage. A new showroom. Over the years the third generation: Larry JR, Robert, and Lauren, learned the lawn and garden business and in 1997 the torch was passed on to them. They, along with their "extended family" of staff, forge forward in the Wehner Tradition. Wehner Mower has 14,000 square feet under cover. Each improvement to the physical plant has resulted in better, more efficient service to the customer. Excellence in service and product is their primary goal. That's why Wehner Mower sells a broad range of only top quality outdoor power equipment lines. The company stocks an inventory of over $1,000,000. A well equipped fleet of trucks are available for the transportation of equipment and state of the art computer technology provides up to the minute support.         Do not recommend at all. My riding lawn mower was running fine when they picked it up, it just had a stalling issue after running for more than a half hour. They gave me an outrageous quote to fix it of $600 (parts to fix it would cost under $50). On top of that, they returned it to me in worse condition. It not longer even starts. They refused to address it or refund the $123.60 they charged me to total my riding lawn mower. Very bad service and they tried to rip me off. Will be taking further action but wanted to get this review out there so maybe you can avoid a similar situation.

        They picked up my riding mower and performed a variety of needed servicing, from new blades, oil change, head gasket and a bunch of other little things. They also cleaned the motor and compartment, and despite the Mower being 15-20 years old, it feels and runs like new. Its cutting the grass evenly for the first time in a long time. Wasn't cheap, but feel it was well worth it with the results I got. Would highly recommend.

        So I have been using Wehner to service my mower for the last few years. They had always done a good job. They are expensive and slow but always did a nice job. Then this year after mowing my lawn 3 times my throttle cable broke. I called them to see what the deal was. They said they wouldn't repair something that was working during the "Complete Maintenance" that cost me $120! So I asked how much it would cost me and it would be another $30 plus parts! So I asked if they could waive the labor and I would be more than happy to pay for the part...nope couldn't do that. Sorry then I guess I will take my business somewhere else.

        Good place. I've had several repairs done. They seem honest and reasonable. My snowblower needs belt replacement and I'm going back there.

        I have had power equipment serviced and repaired here. The staff is knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. Service is top notch and costs are VERY reasonable. I have also purchased hard to find parts here. I have come here for advice (free) and they treated me as if I spent a thousand bucks!! I won't go anywhere else. Leonard D.
