The property managers and owners of E L J Properties do a pitiful job of maintaining the property located at 357 Alexander Street. Before you rent ANY apartment is this building you should compare other apartments with units for similar rent. The repairs to my apartment were supposed to be done prior to me moving in. This NEVER happened but the rent was paid and paid on time.

I think this place is a rip off and a slum. Some apartments are nice but my unit was one of those. When the radiator comes on there is an orange-colored water is omitted onto the walls and doors of the apartment, simply disgusting! There are also some very noisy people that live there too. They make noise at the oddest hours of the night when everyone else is sleeping.

DO NOT settle for this place to call your home, no matter how temporary. This is truly the “Nightmare On Alexander Street.” Take my advice and steer clear of this property or any other properties managed by E L J Properties because you will be sorry in the end. The property managers promise to make repairs but never do. The owners should be paying you to live in their building, not you paying them for this dump.
