Critter Control

I would NEVER use the local Rochester dealer (Terry is/was the owner). His follow up is horrible and he's usually combative. Over 2 yrs, they were not able to address my Bat problem. Their guarantee means nothing. Stay away.

This is for the local Rochester NY Critter Control. I had someone come out for an estimate where they charged $102. The inspection lasted less than 10 minutes. I have birds in my attic that are getting in from my dormer joints. I have a Steep Roof. After the inspection was done he told me that he would not be able to do the job since he doesn't have the equipment and that he doesn't feel safe on my roof. I understand this, because I do have a steep roof but he saw my roof before the estimate even started. You walked around the outside looking at it before you came in. He should have notified me before he even started the inspection that he doesn't feel comfortable going up there. He said he is still required to write an estimate because he cant leave it blank but I should contact a roofer. If you cannot do the job you should not charge the customer for the estimate. An estimate is be able to provide the work so I can apply what you charged me to the work. There are plenty of companies that charge free estimate do yourself a favor and pick them. I talked to 2 other animal control companies after he left my home and told them flat out on the phone that I have steep roof and they said it doesn't matter they do work on top of every roof type. Call another company they are not worth your time.
