Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester is an autonomous, nonprofit organization that provides provide youth development programs that enable youths to acquire skills and qualities needed to become responsible citizens and leaders. The organization also offers opportunities to participate in sports activities, such as basketball, baseball, soccer and golf. It administers several character and leadership development programs. Boys & Girls Clubs of Rochester has a children s caf that training related to job readiness skills for youth to enter into the food service industry. The organization administers NetSmartz, which is a program that teaches and reinforces the skills, knowledge and attitudes that support the safe and ethical use of Internet.
