Book Review

They have everything you need in a comic stor. Comics, action figures, posters, graphic novels etc. The guy working was pretty cool. He was enthusiastic about everything I bought.

Not only is the owner rude he is uneducated on how to handle comic books. He had some great old comic books but WROTE ON THEM IN SHARPIE! This drops any value they had to near nothing. I found a comic I had been searching for in fair condition which would have been worth about 20.00. He wrote 25 cents on it which made it worthless. I tried to explain it to him and he said he really doesn't care about the comics. They are a side business.

Stopped in to trade in some used books for the first time and the owner was very rude when I asked him how the trade in process works. He actually started raising his voice with me and I explained I this was my first time trading in books there. Then he yelled, "I don't make money off books and I'm not a library!" I tried to exchange 10 of my books for 3 of his. Don't go here unless you want to be publically humiliated.

Stopped by; was interested in picking up a few gaming supplies. The guy behind the counter (I'm guessing the owner) was having what was obviously a casual conversation with someone. I browsed for probably 15 minutes, stopping a few times to wait near Counter Guy to see if he'd interrupt his conversation to ask if he could help me, or even say hi. Nope. Just point blank ignored me. Went home and bought the things I wanted online. I support local small businesses with my patronage, but this one? He doesn't get my time of day either.

Came up for the week to take my wife to the Mayo Clinic. We were looking for local book stores and hobby shops in the area. He had some older 1st and 2nd edition books by the door with no prices. When I inquired about the price of one he looked it up online and quoted me the highest price he found. Went back the next day to check about the prices of the other books since they were more common and again he stated that he would charge me the EBay "Buy it Now" prices. He seemed to bothered to look them up and when I asked for a "buy them all price" he seemed very angered and shooed me out the door. Not sure why he doesn't price his items or why he doesn't just list them online since he doesn't seem to wanting to entertain offers on used books. He never did give me a price on any of it except the first book from the first day.
