        My wife and I went to Alexanders for a birthday/anniversary celebration with another couple. It was the first time visiting for all of us, and boy are we glad we went! By far one of the best meals we ever had. They use organic, home grown, or locally grown products. Salad was terrific, Gorgonzola filet was absolutely out of this world, mashed potatoes, and vegetables were fabulous. They also provided free dessert for not taking my name for the reservation and for taking a little extra time bringing our meals. Service was great. Excellent restaurant all around.

        Water, 1 glass of wine, two steak entrées, and two cups of coffee – bill with tip came to about $138. So, not cheap for two people but well worth the price for a special occasion.
