Home PageAlpha Management Community Services, Inc ( AMCS ) is a non- profit, community-based organization located in Durham, NC which provides direct services to children and the developmentally disabled population living in North Carolina. AMCS provides Therapeutic Foster Care services that are designed to enhance a child's quality of life. Our ultimate goal is to provide a nurturing home for children that promotes a sense of safety, a feeling of acceptance, and the conviction that they are valuable. AMCS is licensed by Social Services and provides services across the state of North Carolina.We are a CARF accredited agency. Achieving accreditation requires a service provider to commit to quality improvement and place its focus on the unique needs and results of services for each of the persons the provider serves. An internal examination of our program and business practices has been conducted by a team of expert practitioners selected by CARF and our agency has demonstrated that we conform to a series of rigrous and internationally recognized CARF standards.
