Dr. Chr5is Thiagarajah performed my eyelid surgery. . He left me with excess skin on both eyelids. I have been agonizing ever since. It. is very noticeable. I would never recommend this doctor. Picture if requested. Is there anyone else with this problem? My name is Shirley Worthy.

Ophthalmology
Dr. Bellur’s research interests include improving patient care through the use of novel ophthalmic imaging techniques and advancements in local and systemic immunosuppression. Laser Eye Surgery
ICLs are an excellent choice for people with strong glasses or contact lens prescriptions who are not good candidates for LASIK or other laser eye surgeries. Candidates for ICL should be over twenty-one years old, have a stable prescription, and have good overall eye health.
Cataracts
A cataract is the gradual clouding of the lens inside the eye due to age or medical related changes. As lenses become more cloudy, they can cause visual symptoms including increased glare and haloes, difficulty driving (particularly at night), blurry vision, or the need for more light when reading. When left untreated, cataracts can even cause complete vision loss.
Cataract Surgery

Eye Exam
Common symptoms of retinal conditions include flashes of light in your vision, floaters, distortions, and sudden vision loss. Any of these symptoms warrant a prompt examination by an ophthalmologist. A clinic visit for a medical retina condition involves a comprehensive eye exam including a dilated eye exam. Specialized imaging or laboratory tests may be required to aid diagnosis and treatment. Treatment for retinal disease varies and often depends on the underlying cause. Medical retina treatment options include medicated eye drops, injections in or around the eye, and/or laser therapy, all with the goal of preserving or improving a patient’s vision.

Following medical school, he completed his internship at INOVA Fairfax, where he was awarded the ‘Best Teacher Award’ in Internal Medicine. He continued his ophthalmology training at the Georgetown University Hospital / Washington Hospital Center, where he served as Chief Resident of Education.
