Pecan Grove Postal

I checked before going and saw the posts, but decided to try it anyway since it is near me. Glad I did. They took my prepaid UPS no problem and I saw they had all kinds of different stamps I never saw before. Yes they were a little more but my son will love the cartoons on his birthday invites. Saving me time is important. I find that my time is worth a lot and this was quick.

I wonder why this place is in business, still? I have tried to drop off a prepaid UPS package and was told she does not accept such. Then, another time, I tried to drop of a prepaid USPS, and again, she does not accept such and she could only mail them if the postage is paid inside her store. Are you kidding me?? I believe I tried a third time and ended up getting no service again. I will never go back. This lady is by far the worst customer service oriented person I have ever encountered. There is another store like that in Katy, near Capital One and Target, that is owned by a very sweet Indian lady...I much rather take my business to her. She is professional, willing to accommodate and courteous. To the lady at Pecan Grove store - do the business world a favor and sell it or move. You are quite a rude and disrespectful person.

Went in yesterday for stamps and had to ship a whole bunch of stuff. I was completely clueless as to how to do it, but they were unbelievable! While I was busy with my little ones, she packed everything up FOR ME! Very professional, with a sort of "home-y" feel to the place. Did it fast, which was nice because I've got kids. Was there a service fee, of course- its a small town business- did I mind? Not in the least, seeing as how I was at the post office a month ago and it took 5X as long, so well worth it to me. Fast, friendly ladies who know what they're doing=less stress for me. Glad I finally found this little place, and to think, she's a local who's had this store for over 10 years...where have I been? And the kicker.... they're a notary, do keys, all kinds of stuff I never imagined. I'm definitly going to be back any time I can use their services.There's one review on this store that must have just been some grumpy ol man, b/c I checked their prices vs. fedex when I got home, and it was NOT that big of a deal. Plus, I like supporting hometown businesses vs the chains, it helps our little community. They're local, speak english, and obviouslly know what they're doing.
