Eyeglass Specialist

I have been going to Eyeglass Specialist for over 10 years now. I first found them when I was in college on a tight budget and it truly was a pleasure doing business with them. 10 years past and I have referred my family and friends and everyone loves them... They have a good selection, great prices and we have county insurance so I am able to get 2 sometimes three pairs of glasses! Thanks Jim Nunez! It's great to know there are still honest businesses out there like yours.

I've been coming here for about 3years now. Jim is awesome and always gives me a great deal. I live in Orange County and I make the drive everytime.

I've never had to wait more than 7-8 working days here. Very professional and prompt.

My husband and I have been buying our glasses from ES since I moved to So Cal almost 6 years ago! They have always been wonderful to deal with. I have always had my glasses within a couple days and never had any problems. The only time there has been any kind of wait is if it's special order stuff like my husband's glasses with has to be ordered from the wholesaler/manufacturer. It would take them a week to get the frame available for shipping to ES. My husband loves the frames so much that it's well worth the wait.

Actually this is Jim Nunez and the review that jennifer wrote was very unfair. She failed to write that she has medi-cal and glasses from the medi-cal system can take up to 5 weeks for delivery. We have a full service lab and those that purchase eyewear usually pick them up within a day or two. We inform our patients of the turn around time for glasses using the medi-cal program and offer them our specials for as low as $ 59.00 for a complete pair and we will get them ready same day. She chose to use her medi-cal and declined any of our offers. The medi-cal glasses arrived within the expected time, we called her and she said she would come by for pick up that day. Over a week goes by and she failed to pick up, we were getting ready to go on our family vacation and we called our patients to inform them this would be the time to pick up or they would have to wait a week . She did call and say she was on her way and would arrive before 5:00 , because we were closing that day at 5:00. Apparently she arrived late and was faced with a closed office. She should be factual with the order process and time frames involved with her order. Had she purchased the eyewear she would have received the order within 1 or 2 days instead opting for the medi-cal process and having to wait.

This place is completely unprofessional. They claim to close at 6 in the evening and I show up at 5 to pick up my glasses that I had been waiting for for over a month, and they are closed. They also put a note on the door saying they will not be opening for another 7 days. They obviously do not know how to run a professional business.
