        Hazen High School offers educational classes to students in grades nine through 12. The school offers a variety of subjects, such as English, speech, communications, mathematics, science, social studies and physical education. It also offers computer technology, fine arts and electives. Hazen High School provides various technology classes, including beginning journalism, machine technology, forensics, art basics, theater, music courses and building trades. The school also offers classes in broadcast journalism, production, home interior designing, fashion strategies and creative sewing. It offers a broad-based curriculum, such as woodworking, engineering, drafting technology, Web page design, desktop publishing, pre-vocational welding and welding technology. The school provides various sports, including hockey, volleyball, football, soccer and swimming to students. It is located in Renton, Wash.

        Wonderful School!

        Hazen High School is a fantastic place to send your children! It's greatest strength is it's wonderful and innovative teaching staff who bend over backwards to make sure that ALL students are successful. Hazen also has a fantastic music department and offers a strong array of other arts and electives. Academically the school is doing well and continuig to improve....their WASL scores are all above the state average (and climbing) and they have 92% on time graduation rate. Hazen is also comppetitive in athletics recently winning state titles in Boys Soccer and Drill and Pom. Overall Hazen is a wonderful school and it is probably the best kept secret in Washington State. Don't believe all that hype about Issaquah and Bellevue being better districts, Renton has a lot going for it and we could not have been happier sending our children to Renton Schools.
