Teagans Steak & Seafood

i was kind of skeptical of how the food would taste, but was surprised that it's like a 5 star restaurant with a bar. The prices are reasonable for the food, and everything was made fresh, even the broccoli soup. I was really surprised, and the staff is friendly.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE The food is old and reheated!!! You would think prime rib would be good most places you go, this was the worst I have ever had. I went to this dump on a Thursday evening with my mother to take her out as we dont see eachother as often as we used to. She picked the place becasue she had been there in the past and it was decent. NOT ANYMORE I GUESS. Anyway, the waitress read the specials and I heard Prime Rib, so it was a done deal. My Mother got a steak sandwich. When my steak arrived it looked decent, but I soon realized that it was leftovers that were in a fridge and then grilled afterwards. I should have known when I asked for rare and the waitress said they can only do meduim rare. Probably becasue the steak was already cooked. It was obviously left over and then cut from a rib roast and grilled. The mushroom sauce over top was bland and looked like someone pooped on my plate. The veggies frozen, not to mention old and half transparent. SO GROSS! So i sent it back and looked at the menu and got a burger instead and then noticed on the menu that Friday and Saturday are prime rib nights..Hmmm? Was I eating 5 day old left over prime rib? Most likey! In addition my mothers steak sandwich was so nasty, grizzle on it and looked like the sliced beef had been microwaved, curling and gray! I'll bet the cook put the old prime rib on the slicer and then nuked it for a few minutes to heat it up and tossed between two slices of bread. God Awful. She also got some of those delicious frozen vegetables too with her meal. She didnt even eat any of it, i felt so bad, it was one of the worst dining experinces I have had in a long time. We both said our food was not good to the waitress and I asked if my prime rib was fresh and she said YES. LOL. YES? Your are a liar honey. A big fat liar and to sit there and tell me a bunch of BS is garbage. I honestly dont know how this place is still open because it did not look clean at all there. Anyway, so all last night my stomach has been doing flips and this morning too. I'll bet the chef did some kitchen justice on my burger after we sent our food back becasue I want to vomit today. Don't ever step foot in this dump...I am almost afraid to feed the steak to my dog since there is 3/4 of it left and they charged me for it, so i took it home rather than throw it in the garbage. I agree with most of these posts about how awful this place is, the poeple who said it was good must be smoking some crack and then driving from the troylet to eat here.
