Sweet Dreams Academy & Child Care

I absolutely LOVE this center! Not only is the staff knowlegable, and friendly, they a incredibly passionate about their jobs and the children that are in their care. My youngest son is about to turn one and he has grown leaps and bounds since he's been attending Sweet Dreams. He's already walking and trying to say things like "all done", "hello", and "bye bye". The Director April is totally devoted to the center and Every child in it, its not all about making money to her its about the children's happiness, safety, and education. My 3 year old also attends and he absolutely loves his teachers. I woild recommend this center to everyone I know, because not only are the hours flexable its employees show love and compassion for their job, and the kids who attend are well cared for and extremely loved.

I love this place the staff is friendly and have genuine concern for the children attending. The rates are fair and their availability is amazing for someone who doesn't have a set schedule or someone who works nights. The director and co-director are amazing and have worked hard to make this daycare center a great atmosphere for children and parents alike. They have a set schedule for toddlers and older children and allow copious amounts of outdoor time on their playground for children to interact and play in a constructive manner as well as many age appropriate activities for all the kids. I absolutely love this center and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for great childcare.

This place is a joke, their toys are out dated, broken or missing parts, their play ground is covered with trash, and their teachers well so many of them have had no experience and the ones that do the director and asst. director chase off. They charge a high price and give nothing in return but excuses as to why they can't improve. The fact that they use the word Academy in their name should be taken down. The director just down loads a curriculum that she wants and gives it to the teachers sometimes on Monday morning and somethings on Wednesday. The owners have tried so many different ways of doing things but they worry more about the bottom dollar then the type of people they hire- if you can get a sheriffs card we'll hire you! Oh yea! if you think that the camera's in their center are there for you and your child- they aren't working and aren't plugged in- don't believe me ask to see the recordings for your self.

I have been using this daycare for close to a year. The staff is professional &kind, since they are a younger facility compared to other daycares & they are trying out a method that should have been in effect years ago (we ARE a 24hr town. A 24hr daycare is wonderful). The staff is diligent about any instructions you give for your child's care & have s progress report for you when you pick up your child. Yes, in the past they have had the usual growing pains of a new business presenting a new approach (first 24hr daycare in town). But they work with the appropriate entities & have fixed those minor issues. The staff is professional &treat my child well, as well as keep him mentally stimulated. I feel comfortable leaving my child in their care &that is my #1 concern

No this is not as great as a 1600 a month daycare but we have been taking our baby here for months and they love being with . Shes always happy to see them. Its clean, they are flexible with hours. Yes they did get some citations and when they do they fix them. Bottom line is I like them a lot

Staff they seem nice & caring at first but they are not they are rude people don't seem to care about your children one day a child was napping on a cot right next to her a staff member was cleaning a cot a child was using she was spraying bleach mix on the cot right next to sleeping child owner walked by said don't do that cause it may bleach the carpet, I thought to myself "what about this girl who is RIGHT there?" I have witnessed a teacher sleeping on couch while toddler left unattended (I did report to owner) but from what I heard the woman who was sleeping is part if the "family" just please take your child to a different facility, do the research....

This place isnt wprth a dime as far as being an employee. Dont try to work here they treat their staff like janitors. It's pure nepotism no way to progress that's why there is a high turnover rate. They tell u how great it is and once u become an employee everything changes. They will tell u and send u home early everyday. As far an cleanliness its ok depending who is working. They have write ups from social services 35-45 wrote ups each time because the employees don't follow rules. Better luck anywhere but here. I feel bad for yhe kids. There are too many mean employees and the nice ones get treated.horribly by other staff. Not to mention the cigarette butts found in the play areas. Mass amounts of ants. Mold. scissors knives and chemicals within reach. grime. It's an unsafe place for children. Period.

YOU HAVE A FEW BAD REVIEWS ON HERE, AND WHY AM I NOT SHOCKED!?!?

My advice is don't ever take your kids here for any reason even if you do work weird hours . They are not nice people , one of the owners is constantly screaming at kids and employees . I took my kid out of there because of this screaming in front of little kids and because I was lied to about what was going on .

You do not want to enroll your children here, hands down you will regret it.

Do NOT go to this school...they recently got over 35 citations by Social services for kids left wandering out on the main roads, kids playing with ciggarette butts in the play area, kids playing in the closet where chemicals are, leaving kids unattended.... the list goes on. Upon my tour of the school, the place was dirty, toys dirty, not a very clean place. I would never take my kids there. Theres a news article on www.rgj.com about the citations.

My son and I LOVE it here! All the providers are super nice and remarkable with the kids. They have this awesome project where when it warms up the kids get to go outside and take care of their own plants which I think is awesome :)
