A Reno Dentist to Make You Smile
General Info
Since 1974, Reno Dental Associates has been serving Northern Nevada and the Truckee Meadows with quality dental solutions. Our goal is to effectively and comfortably manage all of your dental needs. Using state-of-the-art equipment and the latest techniques, we provide patients of all ages with cutting edge care in a welcoming environment.
Whether you are in the midst of a dental emergency or need a routine exam, our family dental practice is available to patients five days a week, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
To see how implants can improve your smile and chewing ability, a thorough health history review and dental examination with Reno Dental Associates will begin the process of restoring your oral health.
Even though we love seeing our clients’ smiling faces during every visit, preventive dentistry helps you avoid unnecessary trips to the reclining chair. Just like the name implies, preventive techniques help maintain optimal oral health, and incorporate good habits into your at-home routine to prevent unwanted oral conditions. These good habits will help to prevent cavities, maintain gum health, and reduce plaque buildup. Aside from brushing and flossing at home, we recommend regular dental check ups, where our experts will perform teeth cleanings and take x-rays to document your oral health over time.
Fluoride Treatment
Fluoride treatments: It’s always recommended that you opt for a fluoride treatment at the end of your regularly-scheduled cleaning. Additionally, our dentists can apply fluoride more liberally to affected areas to encourage enamel regrowth.
Dental Sealants
Our dentistry team at Reno Dental Associates wants to help in stopping cavities and plaque build-up. Sealant is applied to the grooves in your teeth to seal the plaque and bacteria out. Sealant makes it possible to keep your teeth healthy and clean.
Porcelain fillings are often referred to as inlays or onlays. Inlay fillings are custom created in a lab and then bonded to the tooth. They can be colored to match the tooth, and it is resistant to staining. However, they are about the same cost as gold filling. The porcelain filling technique typically covers most of the tooth, providing a nearly undetectable filling.
Resin Composite
Bonding repairs the damaging effects of tooth decay, altering the alignment of the tooth to close gaps between teeth. It is also used for cosmetic purposes. In other words, bonding is the process of adding composite resin to the front of the tooth while matching the color for an unnoticeable result.
Veneers
Reno Dental Associates offers dental veneers to help perfect our patient’s teeth and improve their smile. Veneers can correct imperfections in teeth such as gaps, cracks, discoloration, and misalignment. Our Reno veneers are generally painless and produce such amazing results. They have become one of the more popular dental procedures.

Bridges
Reno dental crowns & bridges are a recommended procedure to restore and enhance teeth. Crowning is used to cover the entire area of the tooth that has been damaged. It is also commonly referred to as a cap. Crowns help strengthen teeth, but aesthetically it improves the appearance of the smile, shape and alignment.
Dental Bonding
Restorative Dentistry
Restorative dentistry refers to the dental services that are performed to repair and restore teeth and their supporting structures back to their natural state. This is done to improve the overall functionality of your teeth ensuring your bite is correct and all teeth are performing as they should. However, restorative dental procedures may also be done for aesthetic purposes as well.
Root canal: In more serious cases, your dentist may recommend a root canal to eliminate the problem completely. Though the thought of this procedure may be scary, our staff takes the utmost care to make it painless.
Gingivoplasty is a form of surgery where the healthy gum tissue is shaped around areas of tooth recession. In some case, healthy gum tissue can be grafted from the roof of the mouth. Gingivoplasty will improve the overall look of the gums.
Deep Cleaning
Scaling – Scaling is considered to be a form of deep cleaning that removes plaque and bacteria from your teeth’s surface and underlying tissues.
Bridges are used to replace missing teeth. The implant surrounds the tooth gap, preventing other teeth from rotating and shifting. It will help you avoid a bad bite. In other words, bridges are a cosmetic and functional option. The procedure is performed on one or more artificial teeth, cementing them into place.
Also, a surgical approach to managing gum disease is often needed to build back lost gum and bone structures and to create a healthy environment that can be easily cleaned with proper home care. To fully determine whether or not you need gum surgery to correct an issue you might be having, consult with your Reno dentist. They’ll be able to assess your situation and recommend the proper treatment plan to proceed with.
Tooth Extractions
Losing a single tooth can have a major effect on your oral health and appearance. Reno dentists try everything they can to avoid a tooth loss, but sometimes tooth extractions are the safer option. Our team of Reno, Nevada dental associates are happy to consult with you on whether an extraction may be the best option.
Bone Grafting
Bone Grafting – Bone grafting is done when the periodontal disease has become so advanced that it has caused bone loss surrounding the affected tooth root. It will help prevent tooth loss, keep your teeth in place, and promotes the regrowth of natural bone.
Invisalign ®: Having straight, properly aligned teeth without braces is now a reality for many patients thanks to Invisalign. Reno Dental Associates uses this molded plastic tray system to gently realign your teeth and lower jaw.
Braces
Having straight, properly aligned teeth is extremely desired by a majority of our patients, but braces are not. Invisalign is an advanced aligner system that offers patients a less intrusive and more appealing way to straighten your teeth and correct your smile.
Reno teeth whitening is a popular procedure that leaves you with a gleaming smile. Often, the first characteristic someone notices upon meeting or greeting you is your smile. Our patients pride themselves on their teeth and want them to shine when they decide to show them off. Fortunately, there are many options when it comes down to achieving a whiter smile. Whether it’s a Do-It-Yourself method or is professionally done, you should know your options.
