I quit using laundry mats a long time ago because all the ones I'd go to seemed to always have dirty washers, and the dryers never seemed to be more than warm.So I would use a friends washer and dryer or go to my mothers. Recently my basement flooded and I had ALOT of wet and dirty clothes and towels. My mom's neighbor suggested Freshwave in Redford,and she lives in Farmington! I see why she goes all the way to Redford to do her wash. The place was immaculate! the worker was very friendly and helpful. And, the dryers were so hot that they're set on medium,so if you want HOT you have to choose it.! I now go every week instead of imposing on friends and family. plus, they have FREE WIFI! even the bathroom was spotless! Well worth going out of my way. HIGHLY recommended!

Over priced and rude service. Freshwave advertises free Wifi, but good luck getting the lady to give you the password without making a fuss over it. Also, if their equipment malfunctions, which it often does you WILL be treated as if it was your fault. I say save your money and go to the one at Plymouth near Inkster road, It may not be as "nice" as Freshwave, but the people who run it are descent and nice.. they will never give you crap about their washers or dryers not working.
