My alternator went out early Saturday AM; I managed to find Tom on line, called, he gave me directions and I coasted into his bay! They had the alternator changed out and me on my way within 90 minutes! Nice people and a fair price! Highly recommend.

Came out in the middle of the night while it was snowing and every other shop was closed! Thank god they answered!

My van started losing power on the freeway while traveling back to Oregon. After crawling along for about an hour in the emergency lane at 40 mph, I pulled off in Rawlins to see what was going on and was bounced from one mechanic to another who "didn't have time" to look at it. Ended up at Tom Neuman, where the two guys there listened to my description of what was going on, sniffed the transmission fluid dipstick, and told me my transmission was shot. The told me to put some goop (Lucas) in it get it going again and walked away. No further effort to look at it was made. At all. Total apathy. One tow to Rock Springs, WY and 3 days later, come to find out it's not the tranny at all--the catalytic converter is clogged. These guys clearly didn't give a s&*t about helping me and gave me advice to put snake oil in my transmission, on top of that. Their indifference cost me two days worth of travel.
