Trendz Hair Salon was established in 1996 at the heart of popular Florham Park shopping district by the merger of two well established salons (Highlights in Chatham and Zenas in Florham Park). He spend his early years in NJ working for salons in Montclair, Livingston and Millburn, and has been part owner for salons in Chatham and Springfield. He moved to Florham Park in 1993 and in 1996 together with with friends, opened Trendz. Now the sole owner of Trendz, he has the vision to mentor others and set the bar for truly personalized, high-quality service, with a divers and talented staff that he is extremely proud to work alongside every day. As a master of his craft in color, cutting and hair extensions with Great Lengths, he has learned from the best, like Jingles International, Vidal Sassoon, Sebastian, Tigi, Llongeras, Wella, Framesi and Schwarzkopf to name a few.

Krista has been a hairstylist in the industry for 6 years. In that short time she has built a loyal following due to her ability to understand her client’s hair needs and deliver them efficiently. Her specialty is transforming hair with lived in color. Ombré, balayage, low maintenance livable color, and all other ultra modern techniques of hair coloring are all part of Krista’s repertoire. With a passion for quality products, Krista is constantly perfecting her craft and is always up to date with the latest hair trends to give you that perfect look.

Lori brings her 18 years of cosmetology experience to Trendz. lori worked at the Frederic fekkai salon in New York City, where she was trained directly under Constance Hartnett, the salon’s former color director. She specializes in balayage highlights, creating natural-looking highlights with a new flair of brightness for brunettes wanting some extra pizzazz and for blondes wanting that sun-kissed look. She also specializes in corrective color. Whatever your desire, Lori’s goal is to make sure all her clients leave with a fresh new attitude, looking (and feeling) great...
Hair Straightening
With over a decade in the industry, Tony is a versatile, accomplished stylist with an impressive portfolio of editorial work that includes styling photo shoots for fashion publications, fashion shows for top designers, and celebrity styling assignments. Inspired by the creative aspects of the industry, Tony is also a master educator who spends a great deal of his time outside of the salon traveling the country teaching and inspiring professional stylists with the latest cutting and color techniques. Tony is Sassoon trained, certified as a Framesi and Wella colorist, a TIGI Art team member, and an original educator for Japanese Bio Ionic straightening system. Tony prides himself as an all-around artist, but he specializes in special occasion styling, bridal styles, evening styles, wig cutting and styling.

Customer service was the driving force behind the expansion at Trendz Color And Design Salon. When additional space next door to the salon became available, owner Raul Grippaldi seized the opportunity to provide for his clients a more complete spa-like experience.
