Dental Examination
Your visit will begin with an introduction to our office by the receptionist. The clinical exam will begin with a review of your health history by our dental assistant followed by a complete oral exam by Dr. Andreaus. This allows Dr. Andreaus to take inventory of your teeth and overall oral health in order to diagnose any restorative or hygiene needs you may have.

Oral Cancer Screening
Dr. Andreaus's emphasis has often been on raising awareness of the need for frequent screenings for oral cancer. Several years ago, he captured the attention of dentists across the country when he completed the Paris-to-Brest-to-Paris (PBP) ride, completing the 750-mile jaunt in 86 hours, while urging his colleagues to establish regular programs of oral cancer screening for all of their patients.

Teeth Cleaning
The Dental Implant Procedure = After the consultation, Dr. Andreaus will check your mouth and bite, consider a 3D scan, check bone levels, and take measurements for full dental implants. The implant, once placed, is allowed to fuse with bone. Next, Dr. Andreaus will take impressions to make the final restoration. Finally, the dental crown, bridge or denture is attached to the implant. In general, anyone who can undergo a routine tooth extraction can undergo implant surgery. Root Canal Treatment

Gingivectomy and Gingivoplasty
While he worked with Dr. Andreaus, Anthony also had a gingivoplasty procedure. 'I had a kind of gummy smile,' he says. 'So Dr. Andreaus simply reshaped my gum tissue to enhance tooth appearance. Before the procedure, I had about 9mm of tooth exposed. Now I have about 12mm of tooth exposed'more tooth, less gum. It looks terrific.'

Overdentures
