This store has a good natural foods section and generally good prices. However, the check-out experience is marginal: one or two checkout lanes open, sometimes only the 15 items or less lane is open for all customers. Most annoyingly, the cashier and bagger often are involved in discussions among themselves, so the cashier never says hello to the customer. Sometimes the entire transaction occurs with the customer listening to the employees talking to each other--the credit card slip is presented for signature while the conversation between employees continues. Harris Teeter employees are much more customer-oriented. Still I return to this store because it is close to home and the prices are good. The pharmacy is busy but the pharmacists have always been helpful, going out of their way to make sure doctors are contacted if needed. I also use the Suntrust bank which is located at the front of the store. Another plus.
