Belmonte Auto Imports

I purchased a vehicle from Belmonte on 11/27/15. They, of course, were paid to obtain my plates and register the car in my name. I drove off their lot on 11/27/15 with a temporary tag with the expiration date being 12/27/15. As of 12/22/15, I had not heard from them so I called at 10:17 am. The call went to voice mail. Wednesday 12/23/15 rolls around and no return call, so I call again at 7:30 am and once again I had to leave a message. Big shock-no return call. Christmas Eve and Christmas day come and go and still Belmonte does not contact me. On Saturday, I call once again. I speak to Sandra and she tells me that she has no record of my voice mail messages....Yeah...She tells me I will have my plate on Monday morning ( which is one day after the temp tag expired). By 11;30 am I called Belmonte again since the "morning" had only 30 minutes left. Sandra had more excuses and promised I would hear from her within 2 hours and that she would have my plate. By 3:00 pm there was no call, so I called again. Now Scott tells me that it is not their fault but the fault of the DMV. He states that "someone went to DMV the other day and the plate wasn't ready". He also told me not to worry about driving with the expired temporary tag because the numbers are so small......Really each of the 6 numbers on that tag are at least 3 inches high and just as visible as the numbers/letters on a regular plate. I will not drive a vehicle without the proper paperwork despite what Scott says.

It is now almost 4:00 pm and the DMV closes at 5:00 pm. Belmonte, again promises I will have my plate today. Only time will tell. Considering it's been 31 days at this point, I don't think they will come trough on their promise of today....with only an hour left.
