General Info

The Rahway Department of Public Works and Engineering is responsible for the maintenance of city-owned streets. It offers a range of services that includes snow removal, sidewalk replacement, leaf collection and pothole patching. The department also provides curbside collection services for garbage and yard waste. In addition, the Rahway Department of Public Works and Engineering offers recycling services for newspapers, corrugated cardboard, magazines, books, glass bottles, aluminum cans, household batteries and motor oil. It is also responsible for the repair and replacement of curbs and catch basins throughout the city. The department additionally maintains over 6,600 shade trees in the local area. It is located in Rahway, N.J.
