I wouldn't recommend this practice to anyone.



This is a 2 part story of my experience.I had been going there for years with Dr. Kwon up until my last cleaning and exam. They now have a Hygienist who is competent in Insurance frequencies and billing procedures.



While taking to Dr Kwon she said I needed to fillings to be re-done because I am past my frequency which means that my insurance will now paid since it's been over 3 years since they've been filled.



I know they did not hear me or assumed I had no idea what they were talking about, but I sure did!!!



When I called wanting a reason for the fillings to be re-done, I was told it was due to 'staining.' These are back teeth and by the way aren't stained.



I went for a second opinion and xrays and no treatment was needed. Shocking! NOT!



Secondly, my husband went for his 6 month check up and cleaning and they did a 'deep cleaning" (aka perio) and made us pay over $100 dollars.



When I received my explanation of benefits...we OVERPAID $100 dollars. I called the office and was told we would get a reimbursement check....this was in OCTOBER-NOVEMBER OF LAST YEAR!! IT'S NOW FEBRUARY AND WE HAVE YET TO BE PAID BACK!!!!!



I've been told that 1) The Doctor only writes reimbursement checks at the beginning of the month...2) It's on his desk for approval 3) He's not in, but I'll make sure he takes care of it.....BLAH! BLAH! BLAH!



It's truly unfortunate, but please don't go here unless you want to be ripped off!!!
