Meridian Glass Incorporated

Our General Contractor (AJC Homes LLC) of our new construction house contracts with Meridian Glass to install Master Bath shower enclosure. (MB shower enclosure included in price of home)
The actual glass shower enclosure is fine.
HOWEVER, THE INSTALLATION IS TERRIBLE!! see picture.
The door out of kilter.
We moved into the house Aug 2016 I notified our GC of this problem (along with MANY other follow up issues) shortly after move in.

GC tells me to call Meridian Glass. OK, so I call Meridian Glass.
Meridian Glass tells me "it's a minor adjustment, no big deal tell GC he'll make adjustment.
GC says he will make adjustment.... but he never does.
I call back to Meridian Glass as our one year warranty is approaching. Call outcome,,,,Meridian Glass will not service the faulty installation.
Both our GC and Meridian Glass failed us!

I regret giving Meridian Glass additional business of two additional tub enclosures ($1200.)

Go elsewhere. I called in and placed an order for 4 glass shelves, which were the final piece of the project I was working on. I got the call just before the weekend that they were ready for pick up. I paid, picked up, and headed home. When I opened up the wrapped glass, I discovered there were only 3 shelves. I immediately called them, but they had left the office early. They called me back the next day, and the woman who took my order apparently only ordered 3 of the 4 glass shelves, even though I paid for 4. With the holiday weekend, I had to wait nearly a week for the final glass shelf, with my project on hold. Since the store was about 20 minutes away, round trip of 40, I asked if they could either deliver or give me a discount equal to the gas for the extra trip out. The woman stuttered through some explanation that they don't do that, but said she would speak with the owner. The owner apparently is permanently unavailable, so the answer was no. Talk about passing the cost on to the customer. On top of that, I never even got an apology from the woman. She acknowledged that it was her fault, but after 3 conversations, she still never even said sorry. My project was delayed, I spent and extra 40 minutes of my time, and the cost of gas for their mistake. Well I'm sorry Meridian Glass, but I will not be using your business in the future.
