Powell's Nursery

We went to this nursery when we moved into our new home, asking for ideas about redoing the entire property. We spoke to this asian woman and she acted like it was a complete bother to show us what they had, and what would work in our yard. She was so obnoxious that my husband and I refused to purchase anything there. I'd rather spend my money elsewhere. We found a garden center/nursery out on Rte 17 that was wonderful. The people were so friendly and helpful, we bought almost everything we needed there. If this woman is the owner of Powells, I think she should get out of the business because it is obviously too much for her; and if she is an employee I can't believe she hasn't been fired yet. We will not be returning to this nursery. Shame, it's close to home but I won't be treated that way during business transactions. Get rid of her before she bankrupts your business!

awesome place, very knowledgeable,kind and personable. Taught us so much about our Palm trees and even gonna check our mahogany trees in our yard when they are here planting the palms we bought. We even got invited back for a birthday party the next day. I wish them the very best with their business. Great people ❤️children aw just as polite and even family pup went for a ride with us on cart. Thanks so much.

I finally had a few minutes last week and followed the signs off of Cooper Ave to Powell's Nursery. I have seen the sign for this business hundred's of times, but never stopped by before this. The owner, was so extremelly helpful and has owned this nursery for some 40 year's. You name it they have it,and drive you around in a golf cart showing their massive inventory.

On my first visit I purchased some common Arica Palms (very common for privacy)and wanted some smaller Italian Cypress Trees as well. While larger one's were in stock, I wanted a few smaller one's

and the owner did not hesitate to order them for me, for pick up the next week.

If you are transplanting, adding to your landscaping, or just have another project I would highly recommend stopping by for a visit. On top of all of this, they are reasonably priced as well.
