        Can ANYONE tell me why I have to speak to the pharmacist before getting my RX? My doctor and I have already discussed it in the PRIVACY of his office. I was standing (for a very long time) waiting for my RX, and listening to a woman having to talk to the pharmacist about her Valium...now I don't care if the woman is taking Valium....but I shouldn't know about it!! HIPPA violation. If I have a question, I will ask for a consultation, but this is such a waste of time and I don't want the rest of the store in line to know what I'm taking....Walgreens doesn't do this. what is the reasoning?
