Serenity Psychiatric Health

I have been going to counseling for 7 years with several different counselors and psychiatrists. I called Inge in need of a last minute appointment, and she got me right in the next day due to a cancellation she had. What initially drew me to her was that she believes in combining both Eastern (in brief: a more natural approach) and Western philosophy (in brief: a more pharmaceutical approach) to treat her patients. It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to find a Psychiatrist that is not one-sided and understands the importance of integrating both philosophies, making use of ALL appropriate therapeutic approaches to achieve optimal health for each patient. Any other psychiatrist I've been to has done nothing but give me a bunch of different medications (hence the reason I switched Psychiatrists), but Inge not only prescribed my medication that I needed for my ADHD, but she also respected my desire to be healthy, physically and mentally, using a more natural approach, and suggested a supplement that could help me. I'm not saying that she is a Naturalpath, but it's just nice to meet a Psychiatrist that does not believe that medication fixes everything. She listened to ME and what I needed, and did not go off of a manual that told her scientifically how I should be fixed. She is very compassionate and it was nice to not feel like "just another patient". Sorry for the long review, but I am very thankful to have found her, and just wanted everyone to know my experience!
