American Legion

I will not join, as I had attended a Saturday night with two of my friends, for a night out with girls. It was my first night at this legion. They are members, and over the course of 4 hours, I witnessed the bartender (female with dark hair) giving them free shots, while other members giving them tokens that they could exchange for drinks, even though they were visibly drunk.

I couldn't believe my eyes. I tried to get my friends to drink some water, and even made a comment to the bartender "maybe they've had enough" but almost an hour later they were served drinks using these free tokens.

It was an ordeal getting them out the door, let alone safely home, no thanks to the bar staff for over serving my friends.

Shame on you. Granted, my friends shouldn't drink that much, but don't encourage it with free drinks or over serving people who are clearly drunk. At least offer a cab ride. I'll stick to bars who hire responsible bartenders.
