Airway Fun Center

totally great...just had my b-day party its was great!! Bowling, Laser Tag, Go Karts, Arcade, Bumper Cars, and Putt Putt...all in one place!! Its GREAT

Airway lanes has always been a fun place to bowl. They have plenty of things to do if you have a party but don't want to bowl. At Airway lanes they have a pro shop that is very nice. If you are hungry they have a Quiznose that is part of the building, and if you don't like Quiznos they have a grill of there own that is just as good if not better. When you order your food from where you are bowling they serve it out to you. It is a great place for family fun.

My husband and I went to Airways twice. We feel it is only fair to give a business a couple of tries before writing it off as a place we don't want to visit again. Our first experience was so/so. The man at the front desk was kind and helpful but the ladies in the snack bar seem very put out to serve anyone. Not a smile or a thank you or greeting of any kind. We asked for a non-smoking lane and was given the last one (even though others were open) right next to the smoking lanes. Our lane was constantly resetting with the wrong number of pins or pins coming back up the gutters and balls getting stuck. We were moved to the lane next to us with the same result. These things happen and we just chalked it up to bad luck. Our second bad experience is actually still ongoing. We went the following week and were immediately unimpressed with the lady at the front desk. She was busy chatting up her friend and had to be interuppted so we could get a lane. We told her about our previous experience and asked to be put in a different section. We started to bowl and immediately, first throw, my husbands bowling ball got stuck. Apparently there was another ball stuck in the return and the position was such that it chewed up my husbands bowling ball. We took the ball to the front desk, having to wait again until the front desk lady paused in her conversation with her friend (same person as when we arrived). We explained what happened and she said to take it to the Pro Shop and they would fix it. We walked around to the Pro Shop but it was closed. We went to the front desk again to let her know and had to wait again until she paused in her conversation about some customer who was irritating her (wonder why? haha). She said that she would take the ball and our name and number and that they would have it ready the next day. We went back to the lane only to have the same stuff happen, pin resets, house balls (were were scared to use our own again) getting stuck. Were were going to go to the desk and let them know how disappointed we were but one of the employee stopped us because he could not figure out how our ball was damaged and asked if we could throw 4-6 balls down the lane to see what was going wrong. We were in the middle of a not very fun night out and we are supposed to stop what we are doing so they can figure out what was going on with their lanes. Well my husband did as asked and waited for the guy to come back and talk to him but he never came back. Maybe he was killed by a ball, who knows?! Well we just decided to drop off the ball and call it a lost cause. We waited yet again for chatty at the front desk to pause in her gab fest and left the ball with our name, address, phone numbers, and email address so they could contact us the next day. I have called twice since then, it has been a week, and the first time I was told I had to call the Pro Shop (they were closed) because they did not know what I was talking about and finally today I was able to get a hold of the Pro Shop guy, Scott, who is extremely helpful and very good. He let me know that he had not even seen the ball yet and that it was probably still at the front desk somewhere. WOW! How lame is that. Scott is, of course, being most helpful and will have it ready tomorrow. Oh and not one person apologized for any portion of what happened except Scott at the Pro Shop and it was not even his fault! The attitude by most of the staff was not one of service but one of being put upon. I don't know if the owners come around much but I would be embarrassed that this would be a representation of my business. Not that we want to go back again, except for the bowling ball, but there should have been a small gesture of aplogy and maybe a free game offer or something other than indifference and attitiude. We do not recommend this place at all.

If you want to bowl at a top of the line bowling alley then this is the place for you.They always put out a nice fair shot for everyone.
