Horrible quality do not buy this crap or deal with a store that sells them. I have a thousand dollar couch replaced cushions after two months then they failed after two months. Good luck trying to contact them. They hide very well. I am ashamed they are in Mississippi.

We bought a Dbl reclining sofa with console (Cagney) back in Dec.2013,fabric. We live in Florida year round, I weigh 255 lbs & wife weighs 150 lbs. We use this sofa every day, both retired, have NEVER had a problem, actually looking to buy a loveseat soon. Have owned a lot of different brands of furniture in my 67 years but can honestly recommend American made Southern Motion.

My wife and I purchased a new top of the line Southern Motion leather couch and love seat, from American Furniture Warehouse in Myrtle Beach, SC just over one year ago now. Also purchased the additional warranty that was served up, and sold to us at time of purchase, so we would be covered.

Now we are being told that we are just weeks out of the original manufactures warranty, and that the additional warranty we purchased, does not cover dye/color rubbing off the furniture with normal use. The arm rest area on the side of the couch my wife normally sits on, looks horrible from the dye wearing off. We paid almost $4,000.00 total out the door for this purchase of two pieces of furniture, and we are absolutely livid that neither the manufacture, the furniture store, nor the warranty company, will take care of this issue and make it good.

Very sad way of handling a situation like this from a consumers stand point.We feel like were taken by every party involved.

As you can see in previous reviews the quality of this furniture is junk! Stuffing quickly breaks down leaving you sitting on the metal frames of the furniture and the leather peels off. My larger complaint is customer service! They are worthless!! This company does NOT stand behind their products!!!

We bought a loveseat and recliner and they both are cracking but recliner is PEELING!!!! This so called leather must be pleather...I guess goes with the company...Fake!!!! Spent a lot of money for them and thought they would last for yearS but was wrong a year AFTER we bought it. So disappointed!!!!

Ditto to all the other reviews! Hate to even give one star! Purchased a red bonded leather sectional sofa just over 5 years ago, 4 of which have been very minimal use, and it is peeling and cracking all over! Paid way too much for it for this to be happening. Buyer Beware!!!

Please save yourself the hassle of buying another set of furniture within 2 years of purchasing anything from this manufacturer. One of the reasons we bought this set was because it said in a extra large bright tag "made in the USA" Within the first year it started cracking. I have not used and abrasive cleaners, no pets, no children, so this cannot be considered normal wear. Now, 6 months later its peeling like paper. We can't even sit in it without pieces of the vinyl getting all over us. We've paid close to 3000 dollars for this set and will probably have to buy another within the next 6 months.

I bought a bonded leather sofa and love seat with recliners 5/2010 for $2700.00, in four short years of normal use, no sun or chemical exposure, the color has faded from burgundy to pink in most places, the color is chipping off like old paint, the pleather is cracking everywhere and the stitching in the seams are unraveling. DO NOT BUY THIS FURNITURE

We purchased Southern Motion console sofa with power recliners and a regular recline sofa in February 2013. We only live in Florida 6 months and go north for 6 months. So this furniture has only been set on for a total of 9 months. The "leather" is obviously not real leather. It is cracking and peeling at the seams and head rest. It is just plain JUNK. One of the big reasons we purchased this furniture was due to it being made in the USA. Well I guess USA made doesn't mean "quality".

I Purchased a Southern Motion sofa because I was told it was leather and when I received the sofa it was ultra hide and that isn't what I wanted but was told it was just as good. I have had the sofa not even two years yet and the sofa has peeled and seams are coming apart don't buy this product if you want something to last

Purchased two sofas that were supposed to be 93" in length, but when I received them, according to measurements were 90 1/2". I was told that this is common practice to make it smaller than advertised measurements. I believe that if it says 93" it should be 93". I was looking for a longer sofa and was purchasing these because of the length.
