Scotts Lawn Service

I just purchased a new house and discovered the backyard was infested with fleas!! I requested Scott's service last week and informed them it was a SERIOUS problem and the yard needed attention ASAP! They told me someone would be out in 5 business days (bummer). Once they came, they left a note on my door stating they treated my yard. I called them for feedback and to make sure they specifically sprayed for the fleas as I was attacked by just walking to my trash can on the side of the house. I know the issue wouldn't be resolved in an hour, but I wanted to make sure they were aware of the issue. Well I learned that I was being charged $80 for the visit and that they'd have to come back "at least two more times" (No Guarantee) and it would cost me an ADDITIONAL $160!! Mind you, I was quoted a price of $8.89 a month (monthly installments vs the quarterly fee). This is LUDICROUS and I switched to Terminix, because they GUARANTEE their service and if they have to make multiple trips to get the issue under control there is NO ADDITIONAL FEE! Being that I'm a new homeowner this was my first time EVER having to contact a company for pest control and my first time sucked!! You live and learn! I'll stick with the BIG COMPABNIES!

I was a customer for 3 years. I contacted them 3 times within 10 days to treat a flea and tick problem on my lawn. They promised to come out on 3 different occassions. They never responded. I am not a customer anymore.

Do not go with this company, they are horrible when it comes to communication.



A salesperson came knocking at my door. I told him about an ant problem I was having on the driveway. He assured me that a one-time service costing $29.95 could possible fix the problem. So they came out and did what they had to do. The ant problem was not resolved so I called them and left a message. No one called me back but just about a week later, someone showed up and finally took care of the problem.



Just 16 days later, someone showed up again. I wondered why if the ant problem had been resolved once and for all.



A few days after that, I got a bill for $82.40 for "services" rendered. Turns out that 3rd time they came out cost me $45. I never requested that service so I wrote them a letter stated I was not going to pay the 45 dollars. I am still waiting to hear back from them. Extremely dissapointed in this company and to make matters worse, nowhere on their invoices or website does it show a physical address! I had to come here to find out they are situated in Pompano Beach, FL. Makes ya wonder, you know...
