Solis Mammography Plano

I have been going to Solis for years with no issues. In June of 2012, I was at the Central location in Plano.



I received some sort of injury which felt like broken ribs. I know some soreness is normal but I could not move on the left side of my body, I could not breathe deeply and it got worse over the weekend. I called Solis and was told to come in and make sure everything was ok. The Dr. did a sonogram and said it was a bad bruise and may hurt for a while. It took 6 weeks for me to feel normal again.



The shocker.... Solis had the gall to bill my insurance company and me and this was THEIR error. I appealed this bill and when Solis sent a second bill to me, (COMPLETELY ignoring my earlier communication) they threatened me regarding me making payment to them.



Again, I sent a letter with copies of the appeal to no avail. My original procedure was under preventative care. The 2nd visit should never have had to occur. I believe they called me back in not to make sure I was ok, my well being had nothing to do with it. They saw this as an opportunity to screw me and my insurance company.



I will never go back to that place and never recommend it to anyone. They are just looking for ways to make more money off of patients and insurance companies.

Do not go for preventative care. They will schedule a follow-up visit which you will have to pay for because they can not bill your insurance twice for preventative. Solis Women's Health has been pulling this stunt for a while. Don't get caught next...

Two of my friends and I go every year to have mammograms. We make a day out of it. The staff at Solis are wonderful and we have a great time. They are very friendly, efficient and respectful. They are helpful and fast!! Beautiful offices!
