Budget Lawn Care

Budget Lawn Care damaged our downspout during their first time servicing our lawn and refused to fix/replace it. It was brand new, two weeks old. We hired Budget Lawn Care to service our lawn (mow, edge, blow) since we had a new baby and did not have the time to do it ourselves. When they came the very first time, one of the workers hit our downspout about three feet of the ground with the weedeater, denting/scratching the paint off. I know exactly when it happened as I was in the bedroom which a window is next to the downspout and I heard him hit it. Our downspouts are only about two weeks old because they were just replaced due to hail damage. Our lawn had not been mowed since they were replaced so there is no chance it happened another time. We called the company the same day multiple times to notify them and they took forever to get back to us. About a week and a half later they advised they would give the mow for free due to the damage. This is no way makes up for the cost of the downspout damage, as it costs 31 dollars for the mow. I called several more times to speak with a supervisor who also took several days to call me back. When he did he tried to make it seem like it was not a big deal and tried to deny that his worker actually hit it because we did not "witness it happen" (seriously?). He refused to pay for the damages in full or replace the gutter downspout and we cancelled our service immediately. What kind of company comes out, damages your property, refuses to fix it, and loses your business after one service. PS. one of the workers actually humped our inflatable grim reaper halloween decoration in our front yard, and yes we did witness it because I was looking out the window when it happened...real professional.
