General Info: Melrose Elementary enrolls more than 550 students in kindergarten through grade five. The schools academic curriculum includes language arts, math, social studies, visual and performance arts, science and English. It is staffed with a guidance counselor, computer application, coordinator, psychologist, speech therapist and teachers. Melrose Elementary conducts special, health and physical education classes for students with developmental disabilities. The school s parent-teacher association organizes fundraising programs and regular meetings. It is a part of the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District, which offers educational opportunities for the academic development of students. It operates several elementary, middle and high schools. Melrose Elementary is located in Placentia Calif.
