The company provides products that include lead wire for electronic components, lighting, telecommunications, grounding and utility; nickel plated steel wire for automotive and industrial applications, and high temperature appliances and photovoltaic wire for solar applications. Based in Rocky Mount, N.C., Torpedo Specialty Wire Inc. has manufacturing facilities admeasuring 150,000 square feet and supplies its products to numerous domestic as well as international customers. The core processes of Torpedo Specialty Wire Inc. include cladding, drawing, annealing, electroplating and flat wire rolling. The company's two manufacturing facilities located in North Carolina and Pennsylvania has been awarded ISO 9001:2000 certification for quality management.
