A Waldron Electric HVAC

Mr. Waldron charged me $8,000 to replace an $80 bolt at my meter. I signed no contracts. This included emergency service. Another company estimated his work to be worth about $860 for work completed off hours and another $80 for the bolt. I did received contracts 5 days later via certified letter which I was to sign and initial-I did not.I was also to note that this was only a temporary fix and for another $5,000 he could complete the work. I had the 400 amp meter socket replaced by Sargent Electric at a cost of $1,600. This included inspection and power disconnect and reconnect fees. Mr. Waldron worked for about 6 hours. Before even looking at what needed to be done, he asked for my credit card and went to his truck, phoned his office and put the $8,000 on my card. I had already had my power company at my home and they restored partial power. They told me what needed to be replaced, so Mr. Waldron would know what he needed. This info was relayed to him even before his arrival. Granted the weather was not that great as he worked, but that's no reason to up the price $7,000. He told me he lost money on this job as he was too tired to work the next day-not my problem either! He has a ton of companies and some are under other names like Speedy Electric. I'm sure he had other workers out the next day making him money! He is not an accredited member of the BBB and does not meet the requirements to be on Angie's list because of all his F ratings. He has been taken to the Attorney Generals Office of Pa. numerous times for his business practices. The charge still remains on my card, and he has threatened to pursue me like a wolf and put a lien on my home if not paid in full. I plan legal action if my credit card company is unable to correct.

Seen his commercials 100 times with the dogs, Love it. Called Waldron's up last week and they fixed my fuse box up with the new switch type and put a new wire on the outside of our home. They did very neat work. Love the dog commercials! Ray
