Raquel Miranda (Massage Therapist, Health Educator) was born in San Francisco, California in 1966. While in high school she would massage her father’s feet daily, after he had a tiring night at work. Little did she know this would become her passion. After graduating from high school Raquel decided she wanted to do something different and helpful for people. Raquel attented and graduated from Brayman Medical School in San Francisco, CA as a Medical Assistant. After graduating Raquel found it difficult to find employment because everyone wanted someone with experience. Frustrated she decided to go to school and become a Massage Therapist and open her own business. Raquel attended and graduated from NHI (National Holistic Institute) in Emeryville,CA. While attending NHI she specialized in Swedish massage, Deep Tissue, acupressure, treating migraine headaches with massage, chair massage and sports massage. Raquel enjoys helping people with their stress and pain problems. Bringing a smile to her clients faces makes her feel like she has accomplish her goal in helping people. Massage therapy is very important to Raquel because she knows it works and the person who receives the therapy feels more relaxed and less in pain then when they first started out.
