On November 15, 2014 went to Top Dominican for a haircut. I was transioning from texturized to natural hair. I was 4 months post and had 3 inches of new growth and because I was getting heat in my hair which I very seldom do, I asked for a Deep Conditioner to protect my hair from double Heat (blow dryer and flat iron). On Friday November 21, 2014 I washed my hair and it would not curl up like it did prior to going to Top Dominican. They charged me $65.00 and claimed I had to pay extra for natural hair. I don't know what was included in their deep conditioner, but my hair was lifeless, ruined, broken, no elasticity and straight. A professional asked me if I had a Keratin Treatment. To my knowledge I didn't. All I wanted was to cut the straight ends off. Whatever protein/steam treatment they gave me on 11/21/14 did not work and on 12/5/14 had to cut it all off. It's still straight. Please beware of the products the shampoo ladies use in your hair, take your own. This same situation happened to one of my friends at a different Dominican salon in Maryland.

Long Wait..... They give no direction on where to seat or who was going to work with you.... ( point to you and wave for u to come in there direction) don't talk good English... Prices are ok but the wait is long..... I left after 3 hrs of waiting with a towel on my head. Never going back.

I've been getting my hair done here for a little over a year now and my hair has grown so much. Initially my hair was damaged and in need of a lot of attention. I love going to this salon and my two favorites are Mary and Maria. I've been natural for about 3 years now and my hair is so silky and healthy.. I recommend Top Dominican to everyone!!

It was my first experience at a dominican salon. I needed a relaxer and a trim. At black salon's, I'm used to always getting a trim with a relaxer. They didn't base me, the perm burned so bad, it was a nightmare. My hair came out good, but my scalp felt horrible because the sores from the perm were made worse with that hot blow dryer. I won't recommend a relaxer there, and they didn't trim my hair. Looking for another salon...

She doesn't have customer service, I went there two times and was good enough to don't come back no more, she treats you like you go to ask for favor or free service, it's no only that you have to wait long period of time for service, it's she's rude, it's true is a cheap place to have your hair done, but she has to care about been nice and friendly. I felt mistreat.

It is not your normal salon. There are no appts; strictly walk ins. You sit down and it is like an assembly line. Some one takes you to the back to wash you, some one puts your hair in rollers, you sit under the dryer till your dried and fried, then some one blows it out. You can't even choose who does it, but they are all very talented. If you want your hair to be straight and feel soft and care free. I totally recommend them if you have time to wait. They are also very nice, but they do not speak english very well. They just work. I was very impressed.
