Established in 1972, Symphony Hall is one the theaters that is owned and operated by the Phoenix Convention Center. The theater presents a wide variety of plays and music, dance and opera shows. It also organizes Broadway musicals and several community programs. The theater provides a venue for business seminars, conventions and general sessions. Its facility features nearly 2,500 chairs with wooden bases; reconfigured main-floor cross aisles; and chorus and musicians dressing rooms. Its facility also includes a large stage area equipped with high-technology acoustical, lighting, rigging and sound systems and a rehearsal hall. Symphony Hall, located in Phoenix, is accessible to people with physical disabilities.
