Best care your pet will ever receive. The staff is very friendly, the vets are wonderful and the fees are very reasonable. Can't imagine ever taking my pets anywhere else.

Horrible, Horrible Experience

I have never before been compelled to leave a negative review on an establishment or business, but after an awful experience my family and I had a few months back, I feel that it is necessary and will hopefully prevent other families from enduring the same ordeal. We brought our healthy cat in after she had a little tooth problem, instead of checking her teeth, the vet told us that she needed well over $200 worth of exams and testings. We told her to do the testings, and suddenly she came back positive for leukemia. The vet VERY URGENTLY told us to put her down and nearly scheduled it for us. We took her to another vet for the same test - it came back negative. Months and months later, she's perfectly healthy. This vet single handedly tried to put down our cat just so she'd have a few extra dollars in her pocket.

Wow have you got the wrong place!

Wow! Dave's Garden Buddy you obviously have the wrong veterinary clinic!(or you are off your medication!) I have taken my pets to Bethany Animal Hospital for a few years now and have seen nothing but caring, compassion & cleanliness. One of my older dogs has bad arthritis and rather than make her walk to the back, the technicians drew her blood in the room with me there. YES, THEY USED BRAND NEW SYRINGES! My brother's puppy got PARVO last year and was treated there. The staff wore special gowns and gloves when handling her. On her recheck appointment they even asked if we wouldn't mind waiting in the car until the doctor was ready. This would minimize spreading the disease to healthy patients. I thought that was very considerate. By the way Dakota survived parvo and was just spayed there without any problems! She even licked her nurse when we left! I think they are great. One more thing, if they are so bad, why are they so busy all the time???

Behind The Scenes Would Shock You - Careful Before You Have Surgery on Your Pet!

When you have your kitty or dog seen BE SURE to ASK the following:Will my loved one be treated kindly? Not man-handled or sworn at?Will your office use STERILE (NEW) SYRINGES, or USED SYRINGES?Is the hospital sanitized COMPLETELY throughout the day?I've heard from a nurse that PARVO puppies & dogs are KEPT with the WELL PETS waiting for surgery...IS THIS TRUE?Is there an ISOLATION AREA for CONTAGIOUS ANIMALS?When my pet has surgery will it have ONE-ON-ONE nurse supervision/care, or WILL IT BE IN AN ASSEMBLY LINE? One of the nurses told me that the doctor that who does the surgeries also EATS HER LUNCH over the top of pets awaiting their turn & that her own dogs are allowed to run LOOSE in surgery!?!I cannot imagine having a procedure on myself or loved one where there was day care going on (germ filled enviornment).I have concern for the practices of this hospital since one of their own nurses told me this information & advised me to take my pet to a hospital that has a AAHA s

unique and wonderful

I have never met a veterinary staff that can compare to the people at Bethany animal hospital. I started going there when my old roommate took her pitbull there for a free spay. She did not spend a dime, but they treated all of us (me, roommate, and the pup), like a million bucks. They are not fancy, but the quality of care cannot be beat. They even have grooming and boarding available, and I can board my diabetic cat without worrying about her. Their prices are amazing- ok, vet care is expensive, but compared to everywhere else they are CHEAP. They take care of the animals that are abused and confiscated by the sheriff's dept., so if you see people in stripes in the lobby, that's why! Go there. You will love it.
