The WES Health Centers serves individuals with behavioral health, substance abuse and mental retardation issues. The center serves children and adults and operates a team of psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers and therapists. It offers medication and case management services, as well as individual and group therapies. The WES Health Centers vocational habilitation program provides employment training to individuals with mental retardation. It additionally offers job training programs, including job readiness and travel training and follow-up evaluation after job placement. The organization provides treatment and care for maternal substance abusers. It is a division of the WES Health System, which is one of the largest African American-managed behavioral health providers in Pennsylvania. The WES Health Centers is located in Philadelphia.
