Nene's Braiding & Boutique

The owner NeNe walks in, she greets everyone else but gives me the screw face.
I notice she wears cakes of make-up with a long blond lace-front wig.
Me: No make-up & 11" of natural hair that I began to grow only 20 mos ago.
Nonetheless, I still smile and speak.
I'm getting 6 large cornrows.
Half in, I notice a screwed up face from across the salon. She starts scolding me how my natural hair is 2 much for her sister to comb n next time I come, go to the Dominicans 1st to have it straightened out. I explained to her that her sister jus needs a larger tooth comb/pick.
She replies that her sister only has 1 comb and that's not their fault. (mind you, not only is she combing my hair out with a small rat-toothed, but it's the type with the tiny lil teeth in btwn the already tiny teeth of the comb) and to think that she's using the same damn comb all day, everyday in everybody's head is a disgrace/very unsanitary.
(Isn't it enough the African don't wash patron's hair before the styling? They could atleast sanitize the combs n purchase more types as well.)
I tell her that she has a nasty disposition and needs to chill.
But this clown standing across from me is going on how she don't care if I ever come back there or not cuz they been open 20 years and so on. Then the "sleep" patron sitting in her chair trying to make peace, starts by saying "That's just her demeanor honey, and the way she talks but doesn't mean any harm." BULLSHIT!
I get up to leave, I ask them how much for the 3 braids she has completed already, her sister is trying to coax me into sitting back down instead for the finish. I sit back down, but then when she goes to put that nasty little comb back in my head, i jump up n leave out to go purchase a hair pick.
She tried to give me my pick back once done, but I told her to keep it so that no other customer will ever have to be humiliated like that again. smh.

She was nasty, rude n hates her reflection.
I WILL NOT BE RETURNING.

The main reason why I gave 2 stars is because the cleanness somewhat and that they work with you in price. Other then that if you like uneven lengths and different braid size and bring your kids to work with them running all around you and hovering over you while eating their food then i say go for it. I also feel like my braids are going to unravel because they are not secure! I will never go here again!
