Larry's has been a part of my family for years. As a child, I could remember walking to get a hoagie or cheesetsteak and today, I still do. Great cheesesteaks, hoagies, seafood, etc!

Leaving the city one night my buddy TRIED to tell me this place was the best in Philadelphia. Right by St. Joe's you'll find Larry's. I went with my usual Jim's order Provolone steak with onions. About half an hour of waiting in a line that had about 3 people, I got my steak. Delicious. Just enough grease meat cut and cooked just the way I like it. Far better than scarfing down a Pat's or Geno's.

Provided by SuperpagesPOOR SERVICE--Rude, demoralizing man worked the cash register when I visited Larry's. Maybe St. Joe's kids can take uneccessary verbal/mental abuse, but as a professional I found it appalling. If you need a good roughing up go to Larry's.

Provided by SuperpagesLarry's is the best cheese steak I ever had. The price is good and the portion is huge. Makes those South Philly steak joints look like Mickey D's. They prepare the steaks any way you like and the meat stands on its own. The sandwich isn't all bread. 3 people can eat off of their Belly Filler & this is no lie. They're open late, so you can take a spin over there for your late night munch-a-thon. You can tell they've been around since 1956 because of the friendly atmosphere and the quality of the food. They are never skimpy with portions. Once you visit Larry's, you'll be a regular - trust me.Chris, Philadelphia PA

Provided by SuperpagesLove their pizza. Grab a Tastykake for after. Cheese steak can be split among 3 people. Great fries. Nice people. Flat screen tv. Lots of students and folks from the neighborhood. Good for a fresh slice at lunch too. Gotta love Larry's!
