Established in 1970, RHD-Visions is a part of RHD, also known as Resources for Human Development, which is a nonprofit social service organization. It provides support services for a variety of individuals, such as people with mental illnesses, developmental disabilities, drug and alcohol addiction, substance abuse, poverty and homelessness. The organization provides residential services, job training, assisted transportation and crisis intervention. In addition, it partners with mothers for the education of their children and delivers primary health care services to the residents of local housing facilities. The organization also operates programs for effective social change through economic and community development initiatives. It is headquartered in Philadelphia and sponsors human service programs in nearly 10 states.
