A T B Electric Inc

I think that ATB employs good electricians but we used ATB for our home alarm system and had some serious issues. For one, we got no training on the system they installed and no updates when procedures changed. For example, we routinely fax information when we travel. But when we recently spoke with the monitoring company, they informed us that about 5 years they switched from fax to internet for updates. ATB never told us. Then a few months ago we asked that the fire alarms be linked to the house security system but the fallout from that work was an intermittent alarm that they were never able to fix. After being awakened repeatedly we ripped out the system and went with another company. When that company came to install the new system they said that the fire alarms were not linked to the security system. Beware!

I called A.T.B electric out to my home, to fix a few of my problems. There was 3 lights not working and 5 electrical sockets not working. They show up at around 3pm, Chris the guy in charge tells me that they are going to have to re wire my lights and outlets. Then they pull off the covers to my lights, and Chris tells me thats all the time they have and I will have to pay for this service call visit and call his office to schedule a return visit. My son comes over later on, and i tell him about the lights not working, so he checks the electric box in the basement and finds a switch is off, when he turned the switch on that solved the problem and everything began to work. Now Iam angry and wanting to know why the electrician that i PAID to come out, could not fix this problem but my son could? So I figured shame on me I should have checked the electric box before i called A.T.B. A few days go by and they show up again, this time a diffrent guy.

I tell him that i fixed the problem, he says ok, but I have to charge u for this visit and left me a bill. I call the office and speak to Mike, I begin to explain that there is a mistake, and that I should not be charged for this visit because i never asked them to come back and he says ok no problem ill do u a favor this time and wave the bill, which is rediculous...very rude. I tell him that I dont think it's fair that i paid for the 1st visit, because they never fixed the problem. He tells me that if his worker troubleshoots he has to charge. I ended the convo there..My question is why should i pay for bad trouble shooting?? A.T.B clearly missed diagnosed the problem, and I was billed 75.00$ for the initial visit for them to come to my home and then an additional 105.00$ for the time the guys spent working in my home.

That is not fair, I feel like I was taken advantage of and A.T.B is a SCAM!
