        This automotive shop does not honor this deal they claim that they did not place this ad here they do not know how it got there I guess a genie made it appear then I try and help the owner talk to a superpages and he brushed me off with a personal phone call they will not be getting any of my business ever very rude and unappreciative!!!!:-( zero stars

        I have been dealing with the Roberson family at Genes Transmission for more than 25 years. I lived in Petersburg and moved to Cumberland / Farmville. Even though I moved 75 miles away, I still take my vehicles to Genes Transmission and now, with the addition of Genes Automotive, they cover all repairs. I just had Charles Roberson Jr install a new engine, breaks, water pump, alternator, replace a broken fog light and switch, install a brush guard, plus service my transmission. I now have an engine with a seven year 100,000 mile warranty in my 260,000 mile 1998 Jeep Cherokee. All of this work was completed in less than three days. I am always treated with the utmost respect and I receive the best service from the Roberson family. I can say with confidence that you WILL NOT receive better service anywhere!         I brought my car to Gene's Automotive for the first time to have my brakes replaced. I had a great experience. They didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need but completely explained to me what they were doing and the cost. The service was excellent and the turn around time was quick. I was able to get my car back quickly and inexpensively. I have been to many automotive shops but I feel that this place gave me my money's worth. I will definitely go back in the future!
